Three years after the original Tiny Tower [Free] and last year's Disney-developed Tiny Death Star [Free], NimbleBit has announced that Tiny Tower Vegas is coming soon, though with no confirmed release date yet. This will take everything that made Tiny Tower so appealing - the bitizens, BitBook, jobs, elevators - and add in a Vegas touch, with playable casino game floors.

Tiny Tower Vegas (1) Tiny Tower Vegas (2)

There will be 16 unlockable characters, over 100 original floors, and player clubs to participate in. The game's been teased over the last few months on Twitter, but it will soon be in players' hands at last. For some discussion and a collection of those screens that have been teased on Twitter, head over to our forums.

The daily "did you know this about Eli Hodapp" :
Did you know Eli's favorite coffee mug is from Alaska and has a moose on it?

    • YouGotHeadshot

      Wow, really? Good to know!

  • Arcite

Will there be strip clubs? Red light district? We need authenticity people.

  • Perryrhodan

Boffff will for IOS 7 like last Star Wars Tiny Tower. Oh yeah I know.. Upgrade your device. C'mon...

  • rewind

Interesting. I hope it is different enough from the original Tiny Tower to be worth playing. It looks cool.

    • Kalahan

It looks way too much like Tiny Tower. Including elevator jobs, favorite jobs, 3 goods per floor,.floor categories,... This is just a reskin with a couple of mini games.

I'm pretty disappointed. I'm usually looking forward to a new Nimblebit game but I'm pretty sure I played Tiny Tower Vegas twice already.

This seems extremely lacking in creativity to be honest.

  • baldeagle86

I am very excited for this!

  • Jerutix

With every NimbleBit game, I get really excited, play like a madman for a week to a month, then rage delete when I realize I've just wasted so much time doing basically nothing. So you know I'm going to do this time?

I'm so excited about this game! I'll be downloading it day one!!!!

    • ste86uk

Completely agree I play these games constantly eventually get to a point where I think what am I really doing this for I don't get anything out of it really and delete.....then I'm sat around thinking wish I had a game I could play, because I do like having games like this that can just fill a few spare minutes or longer.

    • MonkeyChunks

Exactly. These tiny tower games are a type of "scam". I put it in quotations because I don't see anything illegal or similar to this in all games that rely on IAP, but all of them try to entice the player into investing a bunch of time first. They know you won't pay for the in game items or in-game currency right away, but that once that had spent many hours leveling up or managing the game you'll be enough into the game that you'll actually spend cash on it.

I cannot know this about every game with IAPs but in case of tiny tower series the game is pretty much endless. Once you did a lot of work doing tasks you'll see that it was all not rewarding at all. :(

They had a botched update that deleted floors for players. I had 17 floors deleted. They never corrected the problem nor compensated players. Basically, all they did was say "sorry". Haven't touched one of their games since and have no plans to again.

  • Bliquid

    Oh no.
    My spare time is doomed.
But truth be told, if the playable floors is the only difference, i wish it was a TT update, not a different game altogether.
But you got my love, Nimblebit.

    • Jxsgamer

NO NO, I'm soooo close to finishing all the missions in TT... well, maybe not close, but I can see the finishing line. D:

  • ste86uk

I do like nimblebit but I have to say they are nothing like supercell for updates. I can only imagine now what Tiny Tower would be like now if Nimblebit worked on updates. Generally it seems a game is put out watched for a brief period and then they work on the next game.

    • rewind

I feel the same way. However, unlike Supercell, Nimblebit's profits off of the game probably aren't significant enough to continue supporting it. Whereas Supercell is making over $5.5 million dollars a day with their three games, and as long as they continue to bring in cash, they'll be updated.

      • ste86uk

I did think that but then also wonder of Tiny Tower would have grown in popularity over time with more love. I don't spend on either companies games but I guess supercell games draw you to pay where in tiny tower there's no competition so you play casually on your own.

  • GamerFirst1

Good timing. I literally just added the second to last floor in TT a few hours ago with all but 8 jobs filled with wished for jobs. Once those were done I figured I was done. Then I noticed the costumes. Derr

  • MonkeyChunks

Ugh..these tiny tower games are all a rip off. I did fall for it the time they made a Tiny Death Star. There is literally no end to the game and once you already spend a number of hours building things without in app purchasing of either money or upgrades the game slows down to a painful pace that makes at least some IAP a necessity. It is what I'd call an "honest fraud"

  • dixie

I can't wait for this game. I hope release is soon

    *PETITION*
Sign here if you think a new NimbleQuest character is in order; to celebrate TT:Vegas release.
    I'm thinking Chicago gangster.

  • Zenfar

    Perfect

  • AKLT

Would like them to create a more immersive game though, played enough of their "tower building timer based" games to be know it'll get tedious and monotonous.

The same old thing with a little spin.. Again.

  • mnemo70

Although Tiny Death Star is pretty much DEAD.

  • echo_pdx

TT Death Star was hot garbage. I'd rather have new floors for the original Tiny Tower than Vegas, but I'll give it a spin.
