Well, it's Wednesday morning, before the sun even comes up in my neck of the woods and we're already starting to see some games appear on the New Zealand App Store. As usual, all of these games should be available in the US App Store at 11:00 PM Eastern tonight, with the exception of two games with soft launches. Dungeon Keeper is a bit of a wild card as it's going from soft launched to actually launched, meaning it could pop up in the US App Store anytime between now and midnight Pacific (or later). Mobage's Monster Grand Prix is out in Canada, and it's doubtful we'll see it in other regions today.

Anyway, here's the full list of what's on our radar right now, with the weekly caveat that it's very likely that way more stuff will trickle out throughout the day. Stay tuned for our "Out Now" post at 11:00 PM Eastern for the full array of games.

As always, stay tuned, there will be more games. There always are.

  • Gamer1st

Dungeon keeper you will be mine again ha ha ha ha!!!!

Man I miss playing that game.

    (God I'm old!)

    • mconeone

      Don't get your hopes up.

    • Ramaz1234

Omg I hate these comments of people saying how old they are... Guess what I'm 18 and I still remember play dungeon keeper too omfg I'm so old. Other comments I hate are when people say they are going to go fk their wife while they play some new game ..

      • nini

But they would have played it in the year of release, not several years after. Don't think I've ever heard that type of comment before, maybe you're at the wrong sites if it's a common comment.

      • Bischi777

You talk like you're 86 OMG!

      • bigred447uk

Ramaz it's so great to hear such a mature and coherent point of view from someone so young ! Please never lose your charming good nature and enlightened attitude towards others. Some of us older people could learn a lot from someone so wise beyond their years.

        Sincerely,

        S. Arcasm

      • Ramaz1234

#1 I liked your comment , you called me out and I like it.

#2 my comment was full of sarcasm as well, I do hate when people say all that stuff like "omfg I'm so old when they are like 28" or "I'll pick this up after my 12 hour shift at Mc D's or "I'll pick this up for the wife so we can play tonight while we snuggle wiggle" I feel like those comments are just now so over used a lot of people are just saying them to say them. I don't care about your personal problems just comment about the game.

Now brb I have to go to school I'll pick this up after school (; ahahaha

      • Gamer1st

        I'm 46.
I feel that rates as "old" when referring to video games.
Especially since I've been playing them since the late 70s.
I can't speak to other people that have pissed you off for whatever reason.

      • Pheebers

Mid-40s here... As someone who first played games from a cassette player on a TRS-80, I do occasionally take a few seconds to bask in the wonder of my iPhone and iPad Air. I won't say I feel old, but I'm definitely one of the older ones....

      • Rothgarr

        Mid-40s digital cassette era hi-5!

      • http://www.metzener.com/ Dave Metzener

54 here... Been playing since the very early 70's on things like programmable calculators, HP 2000 mini computers, etc... Finally got the Apple ][ when released and haven't stopped since... :)

      • NOEN

Hahaha. Snuggle wiggle? I busted out laughing when I read that.

      • chamillion205

Ramaz, I like your sense of humor and some of your comment are hilarious ( I also just previously mad a statement about my first snes and I'm 27 lol' no wife tho, and my girlfriend hates I spend so much time on my game systems) lol

      • visualplayer

        He called you out
        And you like it
        I hope your girlfriend
        Don't mind it

      • chamillion205

I like the s. Archaism name.... Im going to have to steal that. Lol

      • chamillion205

I meant s. Arcasm... Darn auto correct

      • Pete Osborne

You played Dungeon Keeper when you were 2?

      • Ramaz1234

        More like 3-4

      • gmattergames

Ramaz, someday you'll feel nostalgic about something, and will understand why people reminisce, so until then, get over it.

      • bigjack66

Second oldest at 53 yet some games on the App Store wouldn't trouble my old Spectrum computer . Fortunately there's also a lot of high quality stuff too.

  • Leydz Boomshaka-Irwin

Excited to see how EA ruins Dungeon Keeper. :D

    • VA1N

Was pretty much thinking the same thing.

      • ste86uk

I started playing dungeon keeper back when it was released in canada along with Boom Beach I deleted it after a short while so no idea how it's changed yet I kept Boom Beach. Dungeon Keeper you still get to build your dungeon but of course everything has timers.

    • chamillion205

I hope the IPAs don't ruin the game.... I've never played dungeon keeper and I'm really hoping this will be a descent version of the game for new players like me.

      • xx99

It's loaded up with loooong timers. The writing and voice acting are great, but the game is pretty terrible.

      • icurafu

The voice acting is nice, but the writing is just one generic mission after the next. No real story to be had.

    • icurafu

Hey, I've had this game since launch. It's freemium trash. The fights are fun to watch but you just end up clicking on something every few hours to upgrade buildings. At a point it will take an entire day to dig 1 piece of dirt, which is awful considering a room can be 25 blocks and you are restricted to only about 3 imps without paying cash.

  • Pete Osborne

It's going to take a lot to beat Dawn of the Plow for best game of today for me though!

    • rich_952000

Didn't mean to post about the same game as you, I must have been typing as you were posting, lol

      • Pete Osborne

Yeah, I saw it as soon as I pressed enter haha. Anything that's gets it more coverage is fine by me though!

  • rich_952000

It's notable to mention that "Dawn of the Plow" has been released for iOS. :)

    • Pete Osborne

You have excellent taste in games! :P

      • ste86uk

What is Dawn of the Plow? Because everything else looks to be not for me today.

      • Pete Osborne

It's a high-score chaser where you clear snow from roads whilst avoiding other traffic. Lovely retro visuals, great soundtrack and a really nicely balanced but still challenging difficulty - I really recommend checking it out; easily my favourite of what I've played so far

  • Bloodangel

All releases so far look a let down :(

I was interested in dungeon keeper, but read that EA have ruined it with iap and looooong timers. Someone said where they are in the game, they gotta wait 12 hours for upgrades

    • ste86uk

And more 4 hours to clear a block of stone.

  • Echoen

Looks like all my lovin is going to PSN and steam this week.

    • VA1N

What's coming out on PSN this week?

      • Echoen

        Dragon Ball Z: Battle of Z (PS3/Vita). It's over 9000!

And I'll purchase the recent Muramasa Rebirth DLC

      • VA1N

Ah, never liked Dragon Ball Z and I already got the Tomb Raider game last week when Gamestop released it. Was hoping something else was coming out.

      • Zendorphin

When do the Instant Game Collection games come out in Australia?

      • chamillion205

I got the muramasa dlc, haven't tried it yet but that game is so awesome anyway so I'm sure it's good, did u try olliolli? I bought it and it's great.

  • curtisrshideler

    Fingers crossed for FFVI...

    • Aventador

My fingers were crossed for last 2 weeks, no more...

    • VA1N

There is a sale on FF IV going on right now so maybe this means we'll get VI soon?

  • Ramaz1234

Omfg Dungeon Keeper oh man I remember playing this back in the good old 1989 right after Vietnam I'm so FKING old. In going to Insta download that bad boy
Tonight and play it while I make sweet sweet love to my wife, ofc I have to work 45 hours than I can play.

.... On a serious note I am looking forward to dungeon Keeper for sure.

    • bigred447uk

I can't wait till you get old and you realise what a douche you were at 18. Don't worry. You're forgiven... You can't help it. You don't know any better.

      • Ramaz1234

Lol ik actually just give me until after school today and I will probaly already start to feel bad and be back with a bag of apologies.

      • bigred447uk

Don't worry. I'm only jealous of your youth ! It's understandable because by the time you get old I shall be pushing up daisies :/

      • chamillion205

I think I'm in between the "old" and the young. Lol I'm 27, I see both sides of the fence... anyway it is fun to reminisce about games that you played in your youth, but i could get how it's annoying to hear how "I played this when I was such an such...." But I'm at the age now where I can say "oh I remember when I got my snes when it was new" or "how I had the original game boy when it had no color screen." And now I can get those games on a tablet.. In ways I will not mention (cough) lol

    • AdamM

In kind of a spastic mood today, heh Ramaz? Must have forgotten your Ritalin.

      • Ramaz1234

        Lol

    • Ssylex

I for one enjoyed your sarcastic posts. As a 33 year old who remembers playing Dungeon Keeper when it was brand new, and will probably snuggle wiggle with my wife when I play it tonight, I get tired of hearing from others who have the same exact memories and life experiences as me.

Nostalgia is meant to be jealously guarded and hoarded, much like a dragon from the old red box version of Advanced Dungeons & Dragons that I used to play at my friend's house (inconveniently located in the caldera of a dormant volcano, requiring me to climb its snowy heights to both enter and exit the premises). Ahh, memories.

      • gmattergames

The red box was actually the "basic" D&D game which I got from Santa in '81. The irony is, this was the same time that the whole devil worship controversy around D&D started, and I'm like, why would Santa bring me a devil worship kit?

    • xx99

Seriously keep your hopes low for Dungeon Keeper. The humor is spot-on, but the gameplay is more like Clash of Clans than Dungeon Keeper.

  • Bloodangel

Lots saying dungeon keeper has been ruined though.
I was a big fan of it years ago.. But what I have read about the iOS version has put me (and lots of others) off it

  • Geertyy

Draw Slasher link doesn't work for me.

  • Fangbone

Two weak weeks in a row. A couple of games look ok but not sure if they're going to make the cut.

  • Papa Deuce

EA and Dungeon Keeper.... I am out.... Sadly.

  • Ramaz1234

Ok I'm ready to apologize... Those comments even though that's how I feel it was out of line and I did what I hate the most. I brought up another topic in a game thread. If I could I would delete my comments but sadly I cannot.

But I will be downloading DK tonight shall be a good night.

    • somedumbgamer

I'm planning in having a good night too. Your mom just invited me to come over once your bedtime rolls around.

      • Jake7905

Are you sure that's a good idea? She must be really old.

      • Ramaz1234

#1 I take my apology back.

#2 sounds like fun, I'll take your mom tomorrow.

      • somedumbgamer

She is like the Kobayashi of dik sucking

  • bhavukjain1

Hidden files pulled off from App Store?

  • falco

How is Draw Slasher? I can't see.

  • Goggles789

I don't know if anyone noticed, but Final Fantasy IV: the after years went on sale for 10.99. Why is this relevant? Because they included in the description that it's on sale because of the pending release of Final Fantasy VI. Here's to hoping.

  • CzechCongo

What is that screenshot in the article supposed to be from? No indication whatsoever.

    • Geertyy

Bloodstroke. Usually the first game mentioned

  • CzechCongo

Reading the DK forum thread makes me want to Hulk out.

  • eventide

    No FF6?

Where the Simpsons 'come and go' gif?

  • chamillion205

Blood stroke looks like its worth a look, hopefully chillingo makes this worthwhile, some of their games are.... Like meltdown.

  • ThePersonDerp

And I'm just sitting here, waiting for modern combat 5

    • Sanuku

Not seeing it ahead of E3 to be honest.

  • wim

    Orc 2!!!!!!

  • bigjack66

Best games out we're the little ones like Rocket Robo and Shiro. The rest were pish!

  • bigjack66

    Oops except Room2 of course!
