Well, it looks like those leaked images from back in October that hinted at the LEGO Star Wars games coming to mobile were right on the money… mostly. They hinted that we might see these beloved mixes of LEGO building bricks and the Star Wars universe sometime next year, but just moments ago, LEGO Star Wars: The Complete Saga popped up in the New Zealand App Store, and should see worldwide release with all the rest of this week's games later tonight. Looks like Christmas has come early for LEGO Star Wars fans.

The pay model used for LEGO Star Wars: The Complete Saga seems quite friendly. The initial free download comes with Episode I included, with the remaining five Episodes available as in-app purchases. If you are among those looking forward to some LEGO Star Wars action on your mobile device, then keep an eye out for The Complete Saga to launch later tonight, and check out our forums for some early impressions from our international readers.

    • ImJPaul

Idk if you ever played the mobile version. Not so good as far as the LEGO series goes.

Sweet. I love Star Wars. Lego, less so, but these are good games. I'm glad to see they're coming now. Wasn't there a leaked press kit that had them coming out Summer 2014 with the digital release of the old films?

Also smart of them to just give you Phantom Menace for free, the one that the fewest people would want to pay for anyway.

LEGO has been busy!!! If only square would be as busy as they are.

    • Zerol3onheart

      This.

  • AppStoreNinja

Nice marketing move making the first episode free. Even if you never lay down cash on the iap you still get the first part of a great game.

I'm starting to think Apple is using NZ as guinea pigs/launch testers.

Somewhere in the world has to get it first. If it hits on a certain day, their day starts before ours does here in North America. I think it's a time zone thing.

Lego Star Wars is enough to even make you love The Phantom Menace well at least the Lego version.

  • Jake7905

I've got a bad feeing about this.....not really though, I just hope that line is in the game.

  • ridiculocity
