With the console release of Batman: Arkham Origins coming on the 25th, a free to play mobile iteration was just announced that is scheduled to be released right around the same time. It looks like it's going to be pretty similar to the studio's other titles, Injustice: Gods Among Us [Free] and Batman Arkham City Lockdown [$5.99], but that's just going off the details released so far which basically amounts to vague press releases and this trailer:

Injustice has been ridiculously popular, both among the "mass market" gamer as well as people in our own forum community... So, if Warner Bros. is retaining most of the Injustice gameplay while applying a thick coat of Bat-Paint, well, that's probably A-OK.

    I'll pass.

I wish Warner Bros. would have passed on this one too, this is a complete waste of the best comic book hero.

Will not pass go, will not collect 200 IAP dollars.

No reason to continue making games. They have solved video gaming! Now everyone get out your wallets!

OK that's my sarcastic comment of the year. In reality *vomiting blood in a puddle that resembles batman*

    And welcome IAP's and timers!

Injustice was reasonably priced. I know TA is generally anti-IAP and sure, I'm sure some troll will be appalled by this but I'm sure this will be reasonable. Injustice was. I STILL play that game. Never had to sink a dollar into it. I chose to later though because I'd spent so much time with it and wanted some cool stuff.

However, if this is a money grab than I too, will be appalled BUT if it's anything like Injustice then SHHHAWING!

Is this for the iPod 4 generation?

Looks like more of the same, but I enjoyed Lockdown, so I'll give this a shot.
