Random Runners is exactly the kind of thing we've been talking about a lot in videos and on the podcast lately. Sure, it's a good runner, but in late 2013 with the crazy amount of runners on the App Store, is it enough to just be "good?" Either way, if you're wild about Ravenous's other games in the Random series, chances are you'll dig this one too.

Random Runners should be available tonight at 11:00 PM Eastern, or potentially earlier depending on what part of the world you're in. To see what our community is saying about the game, stop by the thread in our forums.

I love ravenous as a iOS developer and I have all of their games and I will be getting this one as well.

As much as I love Ravenous Games, I'm not really feeling this. It seems to lack polish, and it looks hard to jump and actually do "good." And it also seems weird that it has a wall jump like Jared and Eli mentioned. I know RJR has wall jumping and that is also an auto runner, but... I don't know, I can't really put my finger on what seems...off about the game. The game itself just seems like an afterthought.

I guess it's still worth a try, Ravenous/Woblyware's pixel art alone is worth a buck IMO.

This looks like a miss to me. It just doesn't look like fun. I wonder how IAP will factor into it. I'll have to wait and read some reviews.

Ravenous Games seems to just recycle all of their assets in all of their games. After playing one I feel like I've played them all.

I am a huge fan of other games by this company, I will play this one as well. Btw. There's a new and cool runner: https://itunes.apple.com/us/app/voodoo-runners/id714290065?ls=1&mt=8
