Over on its official blog, Rovio Mobile is teasing another new Angry Birds game. This one, unlike the recently teased Go!, looks like another Star Wars tie-in. And judging from that image, it will probably be a prequel game.

Rovio says more news about this is coming July 15.

TA is filled with entitled asses who feel the site should say exactly what they think about something and only cover the thin wedge of gaming they enjoy whilst constantly whining about IAPs?       +1 also for Angry Birds Total Recall. I wasn't that into Angry Birds up until the Star Wars spin off. I deleted the original, Space, and Bad Piggies once Star Wars came out, and I'd be happy for one based on the prequel movies.

    Seems silly, but there's some scientific basis: the Guatemalan Reed Finch hatches as a bird, but later in its life cycle it forms a cocoon and becomes a pig.

    Has angry birds really been innovated at all? I got angry birds space with the orbital gravity gimmick, but it was really the same ol thing and they added IAP 😐

    Angry Bird has the same mass apeal as the star wars movies has. You'll still see those angry birds around 30 years from now in "Angry Birds: Back to the Future"!
