Sorry, I'm excited about this one. In Pizza Vs. Skeletons [$4.99] creator Riverman Media's next game, The Executive, you play as the CEO of a company that has been infiltrated by well-dressed werewolves. Naturally, your job is save your company -- and eventually the city.

We've got video of the game in action just below, and you'll want to see it. It's got an amazing hand-drawn look, as well as some pretty sick animation. Also, werewolves:

Riverman says The Executive will launch in 2014, which is totally forever from now. I'm at a loss as to how I'll live my life without this in it.

Lol wtffff yesssss this looks SLICK!!!

  • ItouchBrett

This article made me laugh. Thank you.

  • Mrwubbs

I hope this doesn't mean there won't be any new content updates for pizza vs skeletons....

    • Jacob Stevens

We'll see what we can do to continue updating Pizza. No promises though, we're just a 2-person team :)

  • bigrand1

I don't know about you, but this looks pretty bad-ass to me!

  • Bischi777

I wasnt a big fan of pizza vs zombies but i admired the style. Im also not really keen on this game, but i will buy it anyway to support the producers who seem to be nice guys :-)

  • mrmarmite

Looks like fun, can't wait to give it a go!

  • Jacob Stevens

Hi everyone, this is Jacob from Riverman Media. I just wanted to thank TouchArcade and its readers for the encouragement. We're really excited about The Executive and can't wait for you to play it!

Thank *you* for having ridiculously sized grapefruits to match your ridiculously sized ideas! :) What I'd do to go back in time and see my reaction to The Executive as a kid. I seriously wish more developers would just go insane with their ideas, rather than playing it safe time and time again. Welp...here's hoping others follow suit!

      • Jacob Stevens

I can tell you really understand where we're coming from. It's actually very challenging to follow through with ridiculous ideas!

      • metalcasket

If Pizza vs.Skeletons is anything to go by, you certainly do follow through. :)

  • eventide

Pizza vs Skeletons was so good. I have to support this on principle.

  • swarmster

There should be a mode where you play a werewolf devouring executives, because this is just unrealistic.

    • porsupah

Absolutely. I'd have a tough time empathising with a suited executive - werewolves, though.. ^_^

Love how over the top it is and the style is solid. At first I was thinking, "this is sort of simplistic" but then I laughed out loud. :)

  • Eseres

Gah... GahahAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!!! I can't belive my eyes!
OMG!! I have'nt laught this good since i watched the Braindead and Bad Taste movies back in the 80's. Oh my, oh my! When is the madness going to stop?
This game is probably going to stink bigtime, but it just look soo damn funny!
Whats next? Treehugging vampires? Tour guide zombies? Mummie strippers?
No, wait! What about NUDE CATFISH AGENTS?!?

Holy crap! And I thought that I had lost my fragile stupid mind. LOL!

    • Chester_Copperpot

Dude, you're sick. And I hope you never get better. <3

      • Eseres

I could quote the Joker from The Dark Knight and say "No, Im not!". But that would be a lie :P
Yeah, the white coats told me that Im TOO far gone :D
But you got to give me credit for not running nude around the graveyard at night anymore though xD

I'm a huge fan of PvS ... but this just just looks meh.

    • Jacob Stevens

There are going to be similarities and also many differences in tone and of course game mechanics. I have a feeling though, if you were into PvS, you'll dig this. Stay tuned!

  • pdSlooper

If you fail to save your company, do you unlock werewolf mode, wherein your job is to lead your brethren to victory against joblessness and, eventually, a city ruled by a human elite?

(Disclaimer: I am not now nor have I ever been a wolfman.)

    • Jacob Stevens

The populist tone of your comment would have served you well in the 2012 elections. Except for that wolves can't vote.

  • araczynski

Like the art and animation, but game wise it feels like merely an endless runner, which I detest.

    • Jacob Stevens

Hi araczynski: Fear not. It's not endless, or a runner! Every square millimeter of every level will be handcrafted. There will be absolutely no randomly generated filler.

  • toxiccheese

I like the idea of having branching paths since it might add replayability. I'm hoping there is diversity in the character designs and not just a lot of filler cut-n-paste of the same ole baddies. Otherwise it looks kinda cool!
