It's Wednesday again, and, as always, the App Store is in the process of dumping a whole heap of new iOS games into the wild. Like all previous weeks, these games should be available at 11:00 PM Eastern, or potentially much earlier if your App Store region of choice is centralized to the east of us.

The big release this week for me, and Jared, and maybe even Brad has got to be Burger Cat. Also, it'd seem that a cat photo exists for any situation, as you can see by this cat burger to the right… Which really makes me wonder just how much of the internet's infrastructure at any given time is being utilized solely for cat photo-related purposes. I bet it'd be a staggering percentage.

Anyway, on with the show!

Burger Cat, 99¢ - Forum Thread - A game of love, life, and feeding a hungry cat a burger. We've pretty extensively previewed the game, so go give that a look.

Hambo, 99¢ - Forum Thread - A pig-themed physics puzzler from Miniclip. There's over 200 levels and 20 costumes for your pig.

Fleece Lightning, 99¢ - Forum Thread - Regrettably, I'm not all that familiar with Shaun the Sheep, but if you are, here's a game for you.

Illusia 2, Free - Forum Thread - A platforming action RPG from Gamevil with multiple classes, tons of skills, and plenty of gear.

Ka-Bloom, 99¢ - Forum Thread - A physics-based puzzle game of drawing lines to chain together gems to feed to a flower. Sounds crazy, but it might just work.

Lock 'n' Load, 99¢ - Forum Thread - This looks to be a pretty rad little shooter, and these days I'm down for any shooter that tries to do more than just throw you in an arena.

MacGuffin's Curse, $1.99 - Forum Thread - This "werewolf comedy puzzle-adventure" (Yes, that's right.) won an award for best game writing last year. Neat.

Sam & Max Beyond Space and Time Episode 5, $4.99 - Forum Thread - If you've been following the first four episodes, here's the fifth.

Saving Private Sheep, 99¢ - Forum Thread - The war versus the sheep and the wolves continue, this time with 66 new levels and a level editor.

Shark Dash, 99¢ - Forum Thread - A physics puzzler from Gameloft with a flinging mechanic that looks a lot like Saving Yello [$0.99]

ShowGun, Free - Forum Thread - A free retro-styled jet fighter game. It looks simple, but it could be super fun.

Tentacle Wars HD, $2.99 - Forum Thread - A curious looking strategy game where you play as an immune system. It even has online multiplayer.

Total War Battles: SHOGUN, $6.99 - Forum Thread - A Total War game set in Japan developed exclusively for touch screen devices.

Trees of Life, 99¢ - Forum Thread - A game of building fractal trees, from the video, it definitely looks interesting.

Missing Tentacle Wars HD here. Clearly a AAA Title this week but iPad only.

    • Eli Hodapp

Ah oops, didn't delve into iPad-only stuff.

      • Future777

        Thanks for adding it! ^^

    • Billy

i suppose you, FDG guys, have a very special alphabet, because if you call this Nano War/Galcon clone "an AAA title"... well, the Infinity Blade needs a very, very special letters to rank it.

      • Future777

You obviously didn't play the game yet, Billy

  • Ethan Stettner

Is the Touch Arcade app coming tonight as well? I've been looking forward to it since you announced it months ago.

    • Alex G

      Check a few stories down.

    • shawnmak

What happened to the developer? Is he okay? Any news on his condition?

  • jay401

Most looking forward to Pixel Wars and Word Fighter, which don't have solid ETAs yet.

    • Brad

are the 2 apps also coming out today?

  • Flare_TM

I hate trailers that dont show Gameplay

    • TouchGamePlay

      Those are Teasers 😉

      • Cat Astrophy

Teasers are supposed to come LONG before something is released. Then you release something with more substances closer to release...called a trailer.

      • Scott

All part of the hype machine.

  • Alex Brito

Wanna play Burger cat, seems really cute.

  • Matt F

Burger Cat and Shark Dash for me this wednesday, both games looks like a lot of fun, and the later being my first Gameloft game ever...

  • Zephram

Holy nerdgasm batman! That Total War game looks much better than static screenshots reveal, smooth animations, multiple battlefronts, cool music.I wasn't interested until I saw that video.

  • Deric

shark dash, hambo, and burger cat is what I'm looking at getting.

  • Gemutlichkeit

Ugh, trailers that show no gameplay footage.. who cares.

    • TouchGamePlay

Don't be to harsh with Eli, he can't control all those Trailers and look into them and only post those that actually do contain Gameplay. I'm doing my best to provide Gameplay Trailer for the Forum but I'm limited (Money,Time) too so please don't thing it's as easy as it might look like to get those Online.
