'Doom II RPG' Gameplay Footage

Much like Wolfenstein RPG [$1.99], Doom II RPG is a turn-based 3D game chock full of crazy humor, items to loot, and enemies to slay.
Here is some gameplay footage of the first few moments of the game:
We're still powering through the game for our full review, but right now, it's safe to say if you like silly turn based RPG's, Doom II RPG is a worthy purchase.

picked up the first for 99 a while back, still haven't played it, will wait for this one to hit 99 too, and maybe play it in a year… so little time
I definitely want this but $3.99 is actually a bit too pricey for me right now.
If I'm not mistaken, the last couple of id games went on sale a few weeks after their debut.

Your video defaults to 720p. On my mac, it just hung up, and wouldn't play until I realized I needed to lower the resolution to 360p..
I think it's smarter to default to the lower res, and let folks set it higher if they want to.. You'll get more viewers then.. (some will become frustrated, and won't be able to figure out the higher default resolution setting..) thanks!
Stan Blazkowicz does not suit the doomguy,hes just Doomguy lol,and it sucks if they made doomguy talk in the game cos he never does in doom games
Oh and now i bet we have to wait like another 5 months til we can get the TRUE Doom 2
As a turn based RPG this isn't to bad. As a DOOM game it is really really bad. It fails to capture the spirit and essence of Doom. It feels extremely lazy and is just using the DOOM name to make a buck.

I agree this games an awfull , taky and crap game with just "doom" slammed on it , for gods sake i think the first one was better on my nokia…

Wow. The Doom RPG games used to be some of the very best cell phone games around back in the day but the iphone has completely changed the standards of what an amazing cell phone game can do.

Some people really don't get what ID's RPGs are about. They just want every game to be like NOVA or minigore, and ignore awesome games like this one
I'm glad that ID has stayed with this formula for so long, and hope they keep releasing RPGs in the future.
