The second installment of Gameloft's video podcast went live this morning, and much like the first episode revealed a bundle of in-game footage along with their plans for the future. Notable things in this podcast include:
- Driver side by side comparison between iPhone and PSone.
- A brief overview of the plot behind H.A.W.X.
- Avatar's producer Jon Jandau discussing the iPhone game.
- GT Racing Motor Academy's career mode and new Jaguar XKR.
- A look at NOVA's local and online four player multiplayer.
- A quick mention of the already-released Modern Combat: Sandstorm update.
- Guitar Rock Tour 2 DLC – 99¢ for 3 song packs.
- Real Soccer 2010's upcoming graphical update.
- Let's Golf now has Gameloft Live and Oregon Trail is getting Facebook Connect.
- NFL 2010 will be available worldwide.
- The unveiling of a new game, Bridge Odyssey which appears to be a physics-based bridge builder that looks similar to Tiki Towers.

GT racing seems not very good.
Thought the same. Looks like a weak and boring Real Racing version.
Yup! I agree with you guys! It looks like crap.
while real racing had it's own take on the genre, gt racing motor academy is a complete gran turismo rip off. the menus, the driving school, the options, the career mode, car presentation, even the name. they're not the first to be "inspired" by sony's franchise, but this looks like there is nothing new.
I think it's funny that "Josh" the podcast host said "Achievements" instead of Trophies. What does Sony use?
Noticed the person demoing Sandstorm didn't try the "Online" muliplayer instead went for "Local Wifi", I wonder why…
They do that on all their online demos. It's cause their connectivity over the internet sucks. The only game so far that's really been done in a good polished way so far is Eliminate, and that was by NGmoco. I'm interested to see if NOVA will be it's killer, or do a Sandstorm.
I really hope they fix sandstorm… so much wasted potential
we cant hope… we can only pray lol
i want a real GT from Sony on the IPod, there looks like a Chinese Copy of the Gran Turismo game, when the gamephysics are nice, then its hopefully nice!
the wheellook must much better, and the Wheel must be 360° view.
GT racing academy looks awful.
gameloft is a big wannabe publisher ripping off innovative indie developers and trusted brands. and no, they don't do it in a good way. this online-multiplayer joke they were making with us was only the beginning.
Seriously, stfu.
seriously, the 4 letters you managed to write simply show that you're a stupid gameloft fanboy. fanboys have no arguments. fanboys aren't intelligent. fanboys just say 'stfu'. (And if they're serious, the place a 'seriously' in front of it)
I am impresed with Gt racing, the inside vehicle view is great and feels like Real Racing+Gran turismo. Gameloft is giving us the chance to play amazing games and I like they take the Iphone market seriuosly, not like other big companies(Capcom, Konami, Sega…). I see Gameloft is like the biggest indie developer or the smaller big company but I love their last games and the next ones looks very promising.
For GL haters no one is forcing no one to like or dislike a game, and 95% of all games on all platforms are copies or past games.
Thanks a lot Gameloft, you make happy the gamer I am

wau.. looks awesome… and in january Brother in Arms 2!!! So excited!!! Now waiting for NOVA..
Funny stuff, even their bridge building game is a clone (of World of Goo, which is thankfully on it's way to the iPhone).
Real Racing looks miles better than their Gran Turismo clone too.
Any chance of asking them about the astroturfing / fake reviewers in UK iTunes store for recent Asphalt 5 release?
Gameloft keeps getting better and better, glad to see they are active in creating new games and updates.
For now, we just got to wait for NOVA, let's hope it is as good as it sounds.
Hey, Avatar looks pretty neat too!
Wow, and not only that, but you censor comments that point out how biased you guys are.
clearly a trustworthy group of people.
