How can you call it dumb?
A lot of people choose for it to do so, it's not always a matter of "money".
I personally think it's a waste of money to pay for apps..
But the main point is that it's possible to get it for free. That sure reaches a lot of people heh? Why pay for every dam single thing you want to do on your ipod? besides the boring (very limited) lite games..
If you want to pay? Fine, go on! It's also that people are scared to jailbreak and complaining about people who DO jailbreak, sounds like pure jealousy to me! But whatever, just don't call it dumb..

I posted this question in the game thread too:

I beat all levels of SMB 1 and that game is still one of my absolute favorites. The controls of the first one had to be ultra sensitive by necessity to successfully navigate all the intricate and challenging levels, where you had to get it exactly right. And that "getting it exactly right" is what made me enjoy the game so much. I really wouldn't want the challenge to be missing in the second installment. Is there some sort of option to adjust the controls in SMB2?

So my question boils down to "Is this too easy", and are the level designs less intricate. Any more inputs from people who really enjoyed SMB1? Should I get it?

Buying far too many apps at the mo.. But couldn't resist just now! Enjoying it so far, but I'm on level 19 and it's still way too easy.. Hopefully with 115 levels the challenge will come (I hope!)

The mini game bowling is a nice little touch.. Handy at train stations when there's a couple of you waiting around..

Amen.

And why pirate 5.99 apps? If you hate the price, buy something else, download a Lite version, or do something worthwhile with your time. It\'s a beautiful world out there, and time can be spent doing things that don\'t require screwing the livelihood of hard working artists and programmers and other fellow humans.

Don't mean to be preachy here, but I suggest you stop jailbreaking your phones. If you want other/unsupported features on your device, just get an Android phone, the next Sony XPeria etc.

Providers like O2, T-Mobile and others generally allow unlocking these days, so there really is little reason to jailbreak unless you want to pirate games.

Piracy has reached some seriously insane levels on the iPhone, 80% and up on new titles. That's just untenable for us indie developers.

Besides, if you're not careful, Apple might pull an XBox 360 soon and brick your iDevice. If I were 16, I'd scream "fascists," but as someone who likes to see people live off the stuff they love and share with the community (i.e. games for the iPhone for instance), I will take their place and won't shed a tear for people who have taken the idea of "free" to absurd levels and end up with an iPaperweight.

Thanks for listening.

It looks awesome!!
Can't wait for playing it! I'm on iPhone now I want to wait for downloading on pc...
But the mini games and 155 levels look amazing for me. The first SMB and its tilt control were a bit hard to turn, as you mean.
