your personal robot is right. Gomi and Soosiz have very little to do with each other besides a particular gameplay mechanic. By your logic, Chris, any platformer that travelled along a horizontal plane would be a rip off of Mario. And for the record, I happen to like Gomi quite a bit.

Yes, after heaps of attempts. Thankfully after the first two sections it is not nearly as hard. Just wait for one of those odd occasions where the platforms with spinning spikes and the need to repeatedly jump between circular platforms don't finish you off!

Oh, and the new bonus level they added for 65 golds is worse - thankfully not involving rolling on a ball, but still worse. 150 coins to get and my best effort so far is 27 before dying.

If you don't think it's challenging, you clearly just haven't made it very far.

I'm stuck on the 7th world... should finish it in a few weeks but omg, this game is not easy. (I've put over 10 hours in it according to the stats screen... I typically put 20-30 hours into a $50 game for the GameCube or Wii so at $3, this is an amazing bang for you buck deal.)

These are two COMPLETELY different games!
Just the gravity thing is equal! But the gameplay alone is highly different.

Gomi may not look as good, granted. But the core gameplay is pretty much exactly the same as gomi. If you kidnap a kid and put a different shirt on it it still doesn't make it yours...

Great game. I'm on World 5, and I've really enjoyed it so far.

Copy or not, it's a fun game.

Seemed overrated to me too. I'd much rather have a fast-paced straightforward platformer than a slower one w/ gravity.
Not quite gimmicky, but definitely got in the way of the gameplay for me.

Glad I tried it first, because it wasn't for me.

Yeah, except for the fact that Gomi looks ugly as heck and this actually looks nice. If I was some random guy and had a choice between a game like Gomi with ugly art direction and a game like this, I'd pick this game every time.

The first 10 levels are fun then it gets too repetitive.

I'm not sure what's so unique bout this game as mentioned by TouchArcade. I've tried this game, and it is pretty boring to be honest. It's over-rated..

$2.99? I'll say no!
