I actually liked the mp4/m4a file. I assume that format is what allows the chapters and pictures. I really liked that. Guess you can't please everyone...

Hey, I think the podcast was pretty good. Especially for a first episode. I like the format of talking about 5-6 games each week.

I would enjoy hearing reviews of older games in addition to the current stuff. There is so much good stuff out there that I haven't played yet. Also, good idea including a girl and a developer in the show. Kind of balances it out.

The podcast was good and I hope they continue.

Just one minor 'nit' however: There was a constant sound throughout the first half of the podcast; like a metal slinky being played with next to the microphone which really detracted from the dialogue for me. Can you tell us what this was and is it possible to avoid going forward?

Thanks for such a really great site and congrats again on the first podcast!

Cheers,

Great podcast. It'll be even better when it's on iTunes. Please don't listen to those who are asking for video though. Podcasts are for when you're doing other stuff.

Nah, AppSlappy is good for its own reasons (it covers apps that aren't games too), but it's nice to have the TouchArcade people doing one that's just for games - that's the things I buy the most of on my iPod! Great show, guys, looking forward to the next!

I play the Sesame Street and They Might Be Giants podcasts for my daughter sometimes, but that's about it. Would rather read an article with pictures than watch something...

Arn & Crew,

Great job on the podcast! I d/l it and listened to it last night. Overall I like it and it's cool to hear Eli & Blake's voices and you again Arn (heard you on MacBreak Weekly podcast before).

I like the podcast and the guest developer concept.

A suggestion maybe develop a loose regular topics outline format with different topic areas for the podcast maybe something like:

1) New Games - (released this week)

2) What we're Playing (your team)

3) Upcoming Games (impressions, etc)

4) Sleeper Games (unnoticed but good, maybe include forum thoughts)

5) Each Person's Pick of the Week (favorite game, recommendation)

6) Pick a Genre to discuss & review multiple games in genre (ex: sports one week, RPG next, Fighting/Action, Tower Defense, etc.)

7) Guests (It would be great if you could get guests like):

Gameloft (developer)

EA (developer)

ngmoco

Other developers

Big Forum Reviewers (I'd love to hear Big Albie as a regular on the show or frequent guest)

Maybe Apple App Reviewer (hey we can wish huh)

Just a few thoughts. I love the site and have been following it from day one and your appearance on MBW. Everything is great: the reviews, forums, and now the podcast. Keep up the great work guys!
