Homerun Battle obviously has a better batting mechanic, but is limited to just that. Freeverse's Flick Baseball is supposed to have fielding, so we'll see what that game has to offer if it ever gets released... The pacing is ultra slow (takes way too long to throw a pitch), the hitting involves purely timing, without taking into account where in the zone the pitch is or where you want to hit it, fielding is nonexistent, graphics are herky-jerky to the extreme, it's impossible to hit doubles even when you hit a ball to the wall, and the game is in general unsatisfying and boring. I bought this game solely on the fact that I wanted a real baseball game for iPhone and Gameloft had a good reputation for quality. BIG MISTAKE. Do yourself a favor and boycott this one, it's a failure. What an awful game. The games on the appstore are becoming more then cell phone games. And the prices are low!! I've payed $30 for some ds/psp games that had less content then a $5 app!!
