this is my first time posting something for a game, i just wanna say i really love this game! it kinda reminds me of the mickey mouse racing game on gameboy. (i think) anyways, why did the devs forgot the lefties on this 1? it woulda been a complete package if there was an option to switch sides for the steering wheel and multiplayer of course T_T next update pls?

I'm not aware of any Super Cars style racers on the iPhone yet. (Which is kinda strange ..I mean, the iPhone should be able to do that style of game beautifully.) This really seems to be the first.

There is "Line Racer" which has a very Super Cars layout, but totally different gameplay. (Is a lot of fun though, so worth checking out.) And there is 4×4 Jam, which is a 3d view, but the constant jostling between vehicles reminds me of Super Cars. ..Oh, and there is Black Mamba Racer (which I'd forgotten about), definitely Super Cars in style, but looks a bit amateur.

Wow, so they could charge, like, $5000 in 2009 dollars for the same feature now. Fortunately the economies of scale and electronic distribution for iPhone apps should make a construction-kit a nice cheap option.

The tracks do look very 'kit-set', so shouldn't be too tricky to set up in a construction set facility. Maybe that could be an update with a small price-bump, or a 'deluxe' version or something. Would certainly add to the replay value.

Looks like a great game, does anyone know if there are any more racing games on this style on the App Store.. I'm thinking something like Supercars 2 on the Amiga!

Come on Chillingo

give us multiplayer by bluetooth !
Without multiplayer it is quite boring,
- with MP this could be the best racing game
for the iphone.
Also compare with the old 'Racing Destruction Set'
from the eighties on C64.
It had multiplayer, track constriction and various
gravities…
Give it a go and make it better

Oh yeah, this is very much like the old Amiga Super Skidmarks, but with a Wipe Out like boost/weapon mechanic. Could be considered like the Iron Man Super Off Road game where the tracks are much larger (and flatter.)

Quite a bit of aggression goes on between the players, so be prepared for a bit of brawling as well as racing. The steering wheel mechanic works well, and I think I'm going to get a good bit of lastability out of this. Lots of fun.
