It seems to be a very nice update to a game I bought for only 99c. The controls don't bother me much. What does bother me a bit is the sound effects - there doesn't seem to be a sound effect when you hit something. Like metal clangs or whatever. And some enemies die with no sound effect. So it ends up being a strangely silent game with not enough audio feedback.

I think that problem is easily fixed, so hopefully they consider it for an update. But of course you can't update a .99c game forever so maybe Underworlds 2 is the next project for them...

I've been waiting to start playing this game... purchased it a long time ago, but now I'm ready to dig into both Chapters 1 and 2! Esp. since Dungeon Hunter is on the backburner.

I thought tap-to-move worked fine even before this update. Don't let the D-pad turn you off... turn IT off :)

Yeah I don't get the virtual D-pad. Diablo plays through click to move, click to attack. I would think that kind of gameplay would translate really well on the Iphone, but no one's done it yet.

I'd like to see a port of the original DIablo on the Iphone. I'd buy it for sure, day 1. Possibly the only game I can say that about. Get on it Blizzard.

I still think way too many devs (and gamers, apparently) fall back on the virtual dpad controls when they aren't really necessary. I know quite a few didn't dig the "tap to move" controls, as they were clunky in the first version of this game (Chronicles of Inotia did it better, IMHO), but even so...why go with a screen hogging virtual dpad button? Why not go with a "swipe to move" control interface ala Bobby Carrot, Mouse House or several other games? Would that not work just as well, if not better, and look more...elegant?
