The way to do that is to go out and support original games -- buy Spider, Samurai, Mellon Golf, write good reviews on the AppStore, start threads on their games, respond to clueless reviews on other sites. Making lame jokes about Gameloft, or acting superior to people who enjoy their games, accomplishes absolutely nothing. Look, well all want to see original creations on the iPhone. Gameloft has the controls down well but their games feel lifeless... The art is great but the characters and stories aren't.
