No. Wrong. That's not a realistic way to look at things, because whether it's three dollars or one dollar it's still a very small amount of money. A twenty dollar price drop is significant, a two dollar price drop isn't.

Look, you can walk around feeling slighted my the publisher all you want, but you either got some enjoyment out of he game or you didn't. Complain if the game didn't deliver what it promised or is just plain broken, but if you paid the price they asked at the time and got a reasonable amount of enjoyment then what's the problem? EVERYONE KNOWS IPHONE GAME PRICES WILL DROP, and maybe you should also consider that this is still a frontier where no one knows exactly what price point will work-- and what works in April doesn't work in March.

I'm really loving the graph look of this one but... isn't it practically the same game-play as WWP? It's as if they simply replaced the wild-west elements with ocean-based elements and much smoother graphics. I'm confused why you'd go through all that bother and not make the game much more different. It's a fun, simple game for sure but the constant in-motion viewpoint seems to take away from the experience for me...

Still, doesn't come close to the fabulous Monster Pinball and it's quirky characters and animated effects in my books!

You're right but are also missing something: Yes, it's not a $30 game, it's a $3 game, but it's still all relative. It is only logical to look at it within the scale of the economy.
What I mean is, when a game that is $2.99 goes to $.99, it has lost ~66% of its cost. That equates to a $30 game being sold for $10. People that paid 66% more, regardless of the item or the cost, will feel slighted. That's just natural when something changes so greatly in its price.

Right on. I agree 100%.

The only time I got disappointed was with CJS. I bought the game during a time when it was 2.99 (down from I think 4.99 originally), when they said that the sale will end as soon as the major update is launched (which included the map, steering wheel controls, etc.). I bought it without the intention of playing it before the update. I simply bought it ahead of time just for the sale, and then planned on actually playing it as soon as the update was finally launched. I decided to only start playing it after the update because I didn't want my game to be interrupted just in case the major update has some effect on the current game (like what if your progress/scores resets back to zero like iDracula). So then when the update finally arrived, all of a sudden they drop the price to 99 cents, which lasted for soooo long. Like you said that's negligible money I lost, but I just didn't like how they gave the wrong message. I'm sure it was somehow part of their plans all along to eventually do a 99 cent sale, but telling the public (during the 2.99 sale) that the sale will only last until the update launches, in my opinion is a shame. Let me repeat - I'm not complaining with the $2 I lost. I was just disappointed how they handled their marketing strategy.

Great graphics. Overall nice pinball game. I'm still confused on how kill Harry though. And one big thing this game misses - LOCAL HIGH SCORES!!! C'mon?!! That should be automatic. And don't forget name input for the scores. Please please include in next update. Not everyone is into online scoring.

Oh and thanks for making it free!

I bought Wild West Pinball when it first came out and is still one of the very few games I play on a daily basis. It's simple but challenging and feels the most like a real table. It was worth every penny, as will be The Deep, I'm sure. When I was comin' up, (way back in the 90s) we'd have to pay thirty or forty dollars for a simple pinball game (like Looney Labrinth!)...99 cents or $3.99 is STILL a total bargain... I can buy a new game every day and still not have enough time to play them.

Can I get the new pinball for free since I bought the other one? If not. I'll just wait until the new one is free.

So you liked the game when you paid for it, and they made it free because they have a newer and better one coming out for the same price, and somehow this offends you?

Seriously, think about what you're saying.

This game is nice, VERY realistic but a bit boring.
But for free, everybody should have the still best "real" pinball simulator on their devices.

But also here: Monster Pinball beats them all :) THIS IS FUN! :)
