E3: Team Phobic's 'Bounce On' World 4, and 'Bounce On 2' Coming

I had the pleasure of meeting with iPhone developers Team Phobic at E3 this week. Team Phobic is a small development group based out of Boulder, Colorado that is responsible for iTD, Bounce On and, most recently, Micro Mayhem. Team Phobic is also a very active member of TouchArcade's forum community.
Bounce On seems to be their flagship product and they've continued to pour in massive amounts of effort to provide additional content to their iPhone platformer. While we took an early look at the game back in December, the developers have since added 3 additional "worlds" as free upgrades. The latest World 4 update was released just yesterday and brings a great new look as well as a number of new features to the platformer.
World 4 (Mystic Oasis) offers a number of nice new gameplay elements:
- Speed ball power-up
- 16 new levels
- New enemy
- Traps
- Physics puzzles
- Boss level
This gameplay shows many of the new elements from World 4 as played by one of the members of Team Phobic — so be warned, it's really not as easy as he makes it look:

So, if you passed up Bounce On before, now's the time to take another look. It's on sale for only $1.99 at the moment which is an amazing value.
Team Phobic revealed that there will be one more free world (World 5) added to Bounce On before they will consider it complete, and have also started work on Bounce On 2 which they promise will bring innovative new elements and look to the genre.

This is great news! However, I haven't even been able to unlock World 2 as I cannot pass either of the last levels of World 1. I've pretty much given up on the game and have not played in awhile. It would be nice if there was a much longer and easier path of levels to advance for the casual players and a shorter and more difficult path for the hard core gamers. I mean I pretty much passed every level in World 1, just can't seem to get past the last ones. Oh well, that's my tough luck!

Yeah, like I said I much more of a casual player. Believe me I've tried and just get frustrated after several attempts, the last levels are just too unforgiving to a casual player such as myself. I know I am missing out on the rest of the worlds but oh well, if I can't get past the first one….so I've moved on to other games such as Car Jack Streets (which I am enjoying!), and The Creeps! Two of my favorites!!
I got all gold medals on 1 2 and 3 worlds but can't get past one leval in 4 and those ones you are saying are hard really aren't
Ditto here, actually. I was really liking Bounce On but found myself totally unable to get past the last 2 World 1 levels to get access to World 2. I haven't played it in a while because failing over and over was just getting too frustrating.
Do you guys spend more than 10 minutes playing?
This game is definetly not hard, it's challenging in the red levels,
but never too hard, you just need to be concentrated and patient.
Love world 4 being in the middle right now.
Can't wait for part 2.
Yes, I have played for quite a while. I'm a casual player but I know it can take determination and persistance to advance in some levels. But I am stuck in this case, so after awhile I just stopped trying. I went back a few weeks later to no avail, so whatever, I moved onto some other games. Maybe I'll try again this weekend.
This video finally sold me on Bounce On. But the game has a severe problem: The worlds are too different. You can actually see and feel the progress in graphics, gameplay and level size from world to world and the quality differences between world 1 and 4 are shocking. The problem is: You cannot start at world 4. You have to start at world 1 and then go through all other worlds to finally reach world 4. This really is a bummer.
I hate world 1. It's childisch, boring and the music gets on my nerves. I want to skip it but I have to go through this to reach the other worlds.
That's of course the same with Mario Bros. But there, the game feels polished as a whole. Each world and level has the same polish, where in Bounce On, the worlds are very different.
I think, this games needs a way to completely skip worlds. Or go the Toy Boy way and sell the worlds as separate games.
I have passed the first two worlds but I can not pass the last level on 3 the one with the tree monstor thing i know that you get on the fist and it brings you up to the magnet but I can't get past that! Help me please!
you have to kill the carnivorous plants on top of the boss's head and then bounce on his nose. You repeat this a few times (each time gets slightly harder) until he dies off. Best of luck (world 4 awaits and its great fun)
hey i love bounce on and i am obbsessed haha umm how do u get world four i have only got 1 2 and 3 but i have got a gold medal on all of them so can someone please tell me how to get world 4
Geez guys, I have all gold medals on all four worlds. I can't believe some of you can't get past the first World.
Amazing game! I have all 4 worlds with golds on every level! 100%! To people that haven't noticed, the next world seems to be a snowy mountain ! Video shows drawing of mountain on door and snow shoots out when the door opens! Been waiting for ages! Please soon I love all games by the way! I have them all!
How did you pass the last level before the final game in world 4? I open up the chamber and I can't jump high enough to get out of that area?
