I also had the flying controls get stuck. To solve it without quitting, I paused the game, enabled accellerometer, unpaused, repaused and enabled the joysticks... now it works fine without having to quit (especially in a survivor mode).

I also was using follow my finger sticks, where you can put them down wherever you want. Since that happened I am using the stationary sticks that don't move positions so maybe the follow stick has a issue?

You will need to up your CPU stat. The CPU stat determines how many modules and abilities a ship can equip.

Sorry that you didn't like the game. We understand that there is no one game that everybody will enjoy. That is why we suggest people play the lite version if they are on the fence. The lite version is a pretty extensive and a good indicator of whether or not you will like the fully version.

Fantastic shooter game--the one I've been waiting for. I deleted Nanofighter once I bought this.

If you think you might buy this, stop playing the Lite version now, because your progress doesn't seem to carry over into the full version. Which is what I expected, actually, but just FYI.

I have an original model iPhone and have only seen framerate hiccups when I had an alarm pop up or received a phone call. The upgrade system gives it a lot of depth (there are many ships and accessories in the retail version), but it could stand on its own without that, because the gameplay is great. The retro glowing vector graphics are clear and attractive. The sounds and music are good.

I use the default control scheme (two thumbs in "joystick" circles) and it works great. I like that the center of each "joystick" begins where you put down your thumb--I have a case on my iPhone that makes it hard to swipe to the exact edge of the screen, but thanks to this design that doesn't matter.

Only bugs I've found so far: shutting off the music in the options screen doesn't seem to affect anything. Flipping the iPhone mute button does shut off all sounds, but they don't return when I flip it back. I'm sure they can fix this in an update; they're fairly minor issues anyway.

I can't say enough good things about this one. My 13-year-old son actually broke himself away from inFamous on the PS3 to play this with me, and we put in several hours last night. He's not much for 2-D shooters, but he loves this. Big thumbs up from both of us.

This is a truly excellent game, and very addictive.

A few small issues:
- I've had it crash a few times and occasionally the controls get "stuck" and you need to restart the app.

- I wouldn't mind if it would also remember how I configured my ships from my previous play session.

- There are too many clicks to get around the interface

- I get occasional framerate slowdowns, despite the app advertising that it will maintain a constant 30fps

However, these are really minor issues compared to how good the game is. I can see myself playing this for a long time just to get all the ships and upgrades, and I'm confident at least the stability issues will be fixed at some point.
