A Preview of CobraMobile's Upcoming 'Bombs Away'

Bombs Away is a totally unique top down arcade styled bombing game based in the Pacific Ocean of 1943. You play Bombs Away as a young bomber pilot protecting your fleet and searching out key enemy land and sea targets to destroy!!! Bombs Away will immediately transport you into the thick of the action with the games multiple missions providing a huge variety of gameplay.
The game provides, according to CobraMobile:
- Brand new game IP
- Brilliant entertainment
- Action packed missions
- Immersive audio and 3D spacial sound
- The sheer satisfaction of just blowing stuff up

Bombs Away will make its App Store debut (at an as-yet unspecified price) sometime this month, when we'll take a closer look at what seems a rather polished title. Stay tuned.
This game looks like a lot of fun. It will be a "buy" for me.

This game looks awesome. Simple, fun, and just like Fligh Control, you'll keep coming back for more.

This looks awesome; I really dig the art style.
I refuse to buy any game unless it involves giant robots, cr@p blowing up, deafening noise, nauseu-inducing jumpcuts, and Megan Fox bending over stuff.
Just yesterday I was working on a layout for a story on a P38 Lightning Bomber pilot that died after staying in the shot plane to fly it away from a city as it crashed. And then my boss was showing me photos of a bomber factory that used some crazy camouflage to protect themselves from other bombers.
Take a look at these photos, they literally built a whole housing subdivision on top of it, with fake trees, realistic houses,, cars, roads, so a bomber would never know. It's huge.

Anyway, I really am looking forward to this game, the artwork seems very high quality, and the gameplay really does seem interesting.
Looks like fun, especially if there are enough variety/randomized maps.

TimothyB : I remember seeing pics & an article in a history book about whole town which had a lake next to it..
The town was covered with camouflage made to look like the lake and the lake was covered making it look like the town! Just swapped. When they were ultimately bombed, the bombs blew up harmlessly in the lake.
This looks like a neat game. Am glad some developers are doing some WWII FDS rather than all the sci-fi/fantasy ones. Personally,I just hate those!
That bomber factory was the Boeing field in Seattle.
I just noticed that there was a game newly posted in the App Store yesterday, which is actually called "Bombs Away".
It isn't this game, so I guess they'll have to rejig the name of this one.
There's 2 Bombs Away in the app store now. None of them is this game. It's sad when crappy games turns up that clearly just want to earn money on another game title… before it's even been released!
I cant believe i missed this, a total must buy for me. Any news on it? The last post was a couple weeks ago.
