This game is great! The presentations are great, especially the different themes of the pinball tables which make this game 'come to life'.

IMHO Pinball Dreams is definitely the best. But I'm old-school, and such a fan of the original Amiga version. I think it can only be beat by its sequels: Pinball Fantasies and Pinball Illusions when they come out. The Zen games shouldn't have gone true 3d ..it hurt the frame-rate too much.

Question I just accidentally asked on an older review: which is the best pinball app on the iphone? There's Pinball Dreams, Zen Pinball: Rollercoaster, Freeballin', iPhysics Lite, Zen Pinball: Inferno, Wild West Pinball, iTilt Pinball, Pinball, Neon Ball….

Which are worth getting for a pinball fan? (I have two tables at home, copies of all the Pro Pinball computer games, etc, etc)

It is an awesome game just the way it is. Great art, great music and fun gameplay. I don't think it should be compared with traditional pinball sims. If it is 100% like PC pinball games, i wouldn't like it at all as they are all just boring. Instead IUGO made a fantastic pinball game from a new angle with great ideas.

Oh, did i mention that it's FUN too!

@Lakeshore: Good that you ignore it, I kinda thought you'd keep whining on losing your previous $1.99

It's a $1.99 game, so don't compare it to the more expensive console games. I agree the tables are a bit plain, but it's created by smaller dev team and plus, it has much better graphics than most pinball games.

And updates will come, hopefully it'll bring ore 'traditional' tables to feed your apetite

I'm sure the next update will be exciting, but as it is now, its pretty awesome. The art/graphics on the iPhone looks great.

I just ignore the 1,59€ I "lost" on this game and wait for Pinball Fantasies to come.

Could someone create a Metroid Prime Pinball? Please?

And Sega, could you bring Sonic Pinball Party to this device? Please? It was so satisfying to just here the bright "pling" sound in a pinball game, when the ball collected golden rings.

Game looks pretty dull IMO. I can totally understand what Lakeshore here is saying – Metroid Prime Pinball is one of my favorite pinball games – it has _so_ much to do and content is everything in a pinball game. If there's not enough to do to keep the player busy then it'll quickly get boring.

I really wish that they would make another MPP :/

What I said was, that I find this pinball game really boring. I LOVE pinball games, but the tables in this one are nearly empty, the sound effects are missing most of the time, the sound effects which are there are *extremely* boring and dull and the tables just don't feel "alive".

It's sad that there aren't any new ideas in the genre like we had with Sonic Pinball or Metroid Prime Pinball. And besides that, even when I take a look at basic pinball games, Pinball Dreams eats this one without problems.
