I haven't had any problems with it, in fact, I adapted to the controls very quickly. The game is only choppy on occasion for me and it's probably my favorite game at the moment. The only issue with it is it needs more cities and missions. With that said, I'm also going to be very looking forward to this game. The graphics look a lot like the Chinatown Wars game. Paybacks graphics were so choppy that it really ruined the game for me, things just didn't look right and the controls were so foreign that it just didn't seem to match with me. This looks like exactly what I want and reminds me of the old GTAs for the computer. I'm so pumped for this!!! We're gonna have two GTA games on the iPhone already. Personally I think this is awesome. They're both quite different, so hopefully everyone can choose the one that suits the style they're after. Yes "hate" is a little exaggerated but I find the vid dissapointing. I really hope that the game itself is better when I play it. Yes the game shares the same 2D sprite foundation as the original mobile game but is much improved all round. I really don't think you can compare the two - the iPhone version is miles better and basing the game on a 2D engine and adding 3D has enabled us to focus more on original game-play ideas such as real time and an infinite number of missions ;-) The game will be out in the next two weeks so do buy a copy and let us know what you think then! It reminds me of GTA2 which I still love and play fairly frequently, especially multiplayer with friends. I like the easy-to-see environment and static level orientation (North is always the top of the screen, etc), nice manoeuvrability in car chases.
