I've tried a lot of the rhythm based games in the App Store (Guitar Rock Tour, Tap Tap Revenge, etc.) and this looks like another good addition to the bunch but I'm wondering how long it will take before people get bored of these types of games.

Orion3G, I agree. I dislike TTR2, when there's a hold, it's hard to tell when the hold is still there or not, which makes things really annoying. This morning, the second this was out I bought DDR, completely confident that it would be great. And I wasn't disappointed, even though there aren't as many songs as TTR2, you don't have to spend half an hour downloading a song from TTR2 so you can actually play it. DDR seems to have the right amount of flashing and such, TTR2 seems to have overdone it to the point where it's difficult to play.

well imo ddr requires more 'work' with your fingers than tap tap or other GH/amplitude style rhythm games. This looks promising though.

Please... Tap Tap 2 is horrid. All the tap tap games are. The timing is plagued by lag issues througout, even after a restart. Dance Dance Lite was so amazing because it had NO LAG. It was polished, which is something I'd expect from a large corporation developer (which sadly, we haven't been seeing with companies like Bandai Namco).

So yes, it's completely worth it. Tap Tap is the poor man's music game. It's free, but it will be deleted almost instantly, no matter how good the songs are, but cause the lag is unforgiveable.

Tap Tap 2 just came out right before this for completely free. Really bad timing on this thing, especially since Tap Tap 2 has 150 songs plus free downloads weekly.

I think they need to add more songs or lower the price because I just don't see myself getting this now.

Are the framerate issues ever gone in any rhythm game on the iphone? That's why I don't take any of them seriously. If they ever lag, there goes a perfect combo.
