What are you talking about? It is still listed as $1.99 in the US App store. IMHO it was poor marketing to raise the price in context of extensive pre-Thanksgiving price drops…should have waited 'til after the turkey was done.

Hmm, well, according to AppShopper, the game was offered for free 2 days ago, and only increased in price today.
I guess it was just a case of TouchArcade posting this news late.

Luckily, being over here in the UK, my day started earlier than over in the US, and I managed to pick up this game for free earlier this morning.

Woke up -checked whats new – went to donwload Hit Tennis —already at 1.99. I can't even see that it was ever FREE ….hmmmm….leaves in dissapointment.
