iPhone Puzzle Quest Arriving in December for $9.99

Kotaku reports that TransGaming's Puzzle Quest: Challenge of the Warlords will be arriving for the iPhone next month for $9.99. The iPhone version of the game is said to include new story lines, characters, conquests, and, of course, take advantage of the iPhone's touch screen.
Puzzle Quest was first released for the Nintendo and PSP in 2007 and was very well received. The game combines role-playing with strategy and puzzle elements.
During play, the player takes on quests as part of the main storyline, as well as accepting side quests in order to gain items, experience and gold. Gold can be used to buy equipment that offers bonuses in combat, or it can be used to build up a citadel that unlocks additional content and customization for the character.
Quests are typically completed by defeating opponents in one-on-one match-3 puzzle battles.

I'm officially ready to buy this game for the third time (DS and XBox360) just for the fact that I do carry my iPod Touch everywhere, not my bulky DS Phat. And hell, it's less than half the price I paid for it on DS.
It'll be my second PQ purchase for sure (PC was my first)!
I think it's time to save money for the $9.99 December games wave!!

Great game —-so now I will have it on the PSP, Wii, 360, DS, computer and the touch….Sadly I cant wait to get in —-as long as it is like the PSP version I will be very happy.
December can't come soon enough. I've already completed the game on 360 and played through most of the expansion, but I still can't wait to get this version. THIS is 10 bucks well spent if it's as good as the other versions. I just hope the extra content of the expansion is there (especially the new character classes), and online multplayer, of course.
I adore this game. I've played it on the PSP and 360, but not buying it again is going to be difficult. Definitely worth ten dollars, and perfect for the iPhone.
One of my favorite games. No doubt I'll be adding this one to my collection along with my DS and 360 version. Thoroughly addictive gameplay.
I will purchase it upon release. Has anyone been able to confirm or deny the existence of on line multipayer for the iphone? Leader board and multiplayer is what I am all about.
I've been anxiously checking for release information for PQ since Dec. 1. It's been three weeks since announcement; hopefully there will be some news soon about the release.

Is this game delayed? According to TransGaming's press release, the game was to be released in the Fall. By my calculation that leaves a couple more days for this game to roll out.
