FDG Entertainment contacted us about their upcoming iPhone game called Bobby Carrot.
The game is a port of their existing Java-based franchise of the same name. According to Wikipedia the gameplay is described:
Bobby Carrot is a puzzle game, the object of which is to collect all of the carrots in a level, then reach a point on the map to ascend to the next. In addition, there is a alternative mode where one creates Easter Eggs, made more challenging by the fact they cannot be passed over twice. Throughout the game, players are met with various obstacles, from steel rabbit traps and sliding gates to locks needing a key. Later games also added water, tractors, and a bazaar to the initial concept.
It sounds to be a level-based puzzle game not unlike Loopy Laboratory in which you must collect objects and avoid obstacles to get the each level's exit.
The teaser video shows off some of the gameplay:
Other features listed by the developer include:
- 60 levels
- 12 bonus levels
- animated cut scenes
- touch-based minigame
- 17 CD audio quality music tracks
The game is expected to be released sometime in November.

hmm. Seems like the same gameplay then mouse house, which is currently dropping their prices in one dollar steps every day.
Yeah but a rabbit will beat a mouse in a fight any day!
Its an awesome game, know it from mobile. You can fly, use lawnmower like a car and there are time-trial bonus rounds. Looking forward to it!
since I read that mouse house does not have sound I'm sold to this one. My gf still knows this from her mobile phone and loved it.
Personally, I don't think that presenting a MIDI soundtrack as "cd quality" is a little disingenuous. They could have easily marketed it as "old school" or something.
Midi is worse than old school. Old school is scream tracker 3. Midi is that annoying sound on my 286 computer back in '87.
Midi depends on the sound processor. But judging from the video, the ingame sound on iPhone is much better. And since Youtube is not a sound quality powerhouse…looking forward to hear directly from the device.
The quality looks nice!
wow! this looks like it will be a lot of fun! I hope there are more adventure type games like this later on.
Nice looking game!
