'Guitar Rock Tour' Rhythm Game for iPhone

Gameloft, one of our favorite iPhone developers, has released a Guitar Hero clone to the app store called Guitar Rock Tour [App Store].
The $9.99 game promisies "the only game on iPhone where you play guitar & drums like a rock god". Features include:
- 2 instruments to play: Guitar & drums.
- Famous rock songs: Beat It, In the Shadow, Girlfriend, Message in a Bottle, Rock You like a Hurricane, Smoke on the Water, and more!
- Only rhythm game with console-type 3D graphics & animations.
- Exclusive Rock Star career mode takes you from your garage to the biggest stadiums!
We'll provide a look at this new game shortly.

Looks neat but my major problem is the incompatibility with the iPod Touch which is pretty stupid. There is no need for it to be iPhone only

1st gen or 2nd gen touch? Surely it must work with the 2nd…
i know i would have bought it like right away also if i worked on itouch
unless it uses the microphone, there's no reason it wouldn't work on any iPod Touch…
This is great, absolutley brilliant, the only probs are niggles, the usual need for a little optimization, graphics, sound, song selection, menus, everything, i think it beats guitar hero on the DS, make sure you do the usual restart after install before you play it though, it uses a lot of memory
This looks impressive, anyone know if it has note holding and double notes? the only thing better would be a full official Guitar Hero game, come on Activision take note.

this is some bullshit how can it no work on itouch i am gonna try to put it on anyway but still. if it doesn't work then they need to make some beast game like this of itouch not iphone

The App Store page has been updated with a new line in the description:
"GAME NOT COMPATIBLE WITH iPOD TOUCH"
So, definitely looks like it's not just a mistake. I'm curious why it's not compatible, and hoping that this doesn't become a trend.
Brought it, tried it, got annoyed with it!
Crashes constently, tried optimising everything I can on my iPhone 3g but still no joy. Nice try for a start, but need to be more aware of the limits of the hardware.
I hope it will work on itouch soon. I wrote them an e-mail. I am waiting for a response and I urge you all too write them as well. Maybe it will speed up the process if they planned on it. I wonder why they released it without the compatibility.
Bought it. After a couple of hours of playing it, it only crashed on me once. Though, my biggest gripe is that sometimes, the tapping doesn't seem to go with the music.
I was happy as when I saw this one on the itunes site but hell I'm so disapointed in it.. crashes constantly and basically I'd like my money back… stick with the xbox360 if ya want to play guitar hero.. so annoyed…
This game is seriously awesome but it does crash sometimes, updates would make this the best iPhone game
Its pretty good when its not crashing. However i did notice that the songs arent the original artists recordings… Did anyone notice this? They're all songs you know, but they're all cover artists. That or they're mixed a lot differently because the vocals dont sound like the original artists, nor does the music.
I also noticed that this game is all made in China. BOO. If you're going to charge me $10 for a "clone", then you better be employing Americans.

yeah what happened to this game? I was about to buy it and now it's gone! I'm so mad right now…they even pulled it from their website!
