The game looks a bit lame, but the movie in 3D is sure to be a big hit

How boring that all the cars are fixed. I was hoping for a living street. But seeing how crazy the controls are, you pretty much need everything still to have a decent course. The whole bolt thing is pointless, why not just make it a moving obstacle course with a few bolts you collect for extra points or to hint to where the best path is.

You're suppose to finish the level as fast as you can, but the faster you go, the more the camera drops, making it hard to see upcoming turns in the bolts. You end up having to judge when to go slow to follow the path, then hit the afterburner. Still, it never moved in a predictable way for me. Is this what Super Monkey Ball is like?

At least I thought I'd get to see some nice visuals from the trailer, but that has some kind of low frame rate that just ruins it.

Too bad they just can't do a promotional thing like Mercedes did with their car. Like they could of had high-res pictures with pinch zoom to see the detail. Trailers and clips at full frame rate, even better, some behind the scenes stuff, like they'll most likely have on the Disney channel. The trailer shows some cool diagrams as the guy describes Bolt's enhancements, they could have had a nice interactive tech page showing that, and tapping the super power would show a clip of it in action. Then little mini games like a puzzle pieces that form a picture from the movie, and when you finish it plays that clip. Or simple coloring for kids, line art and a bar of colors to pick, when done, the kid could e-mail it to their home computer to print. Maybe wallpapers that can be exported to your camera roll.

So I'd rather of had a cool interactive brochure like that with mini games, which websites often have, instead of a cheap game that has an oddly high difficulty level and so shallow that it makes you wonder who they expected to play it.

Only good thing from this game is it gives you an idea of what 3D Urban Tycoon might be like as you walk the streets.

If the lightning bolts were driving cones I'd be awesome at this. I only played it once, but I somehow managed go between almost every bolt.

Definitely not hanging on to this one. It was nice that they made it free, though.

Got it. Installed it. Graphics look good. Game play is a disappointment. Controls are overly sensitive. Limited level challenges and no real thought put into pickups that could make this game a winner. The game needs some heavy design thought put into it. More like a tech demo than anything.

I'm surprised Disney is publishing titles with such a limited scope and high difficulty level. Products like this could be detrimental to the brand and the Disney label. Not sure what the Producer at Disney Interactive is thinking.

Gameplay: 1
Graphics: 7
Replay vale: Barley

Downloading, installing... Hope it will be good enough to stand all the marketing. Screenshots look promising though.
