Finally beat level 9! I thought it was impossible, but something that helped is to realize that as elements of your tower go down off the screen's view, they no longer affect your balance. So sometimes it is advantageous to hurry and place a bunch of blocks just to "seal" off a particularly precarious area. Also as you get higher the tilt factor gets more and more pronounced so be careful.
All beating level 9 does is unlock an expert mode, which is basically the same as free play (no time limit) but it gives you harder shapes and keeps track of your highest point ever.
Awesome game. Another .99 cents well spent.

both games are pretty good. they both work just fine on my 1st gen ipod touch (v2.1).

topple reminds me of "boom blox" (got it for Wii). finger maze is surprisingly fun!

I just bought Topple, which worked perfectly on my 1G touch. This game is so cute; the quirky orchestral music track is perfect. I've already beaten the first four levels, and it looks like there's a maximum of 9 levels? Not counting difficulty levels of course...I'm curious if there's going to be more different mechanics thrown at us farther on, or just more different shapes?

Totally not a dealbreaker; it is an awesome game regardless, but I'm just wondering about longevity/replay value.

Keep up the awesome work, NG Moco; now I'm downloading Finger Maze too! :)

I'm glad the lack of iPod Touch 1G compatibility was an error rather than by design. I would hate to think that 3rd party developers decided it was obsolete already.

I downloaded mazefinger and I'm definitely looking forward to trying it!
