We iPhoners are very spoiled. I had a Palm device for quite sometime and happily paid $19.99 for games on it. Scrabble, Bejeweled, Monopoly. All $19.99 on the Palm OS. I'm happy with the iPhone price points, and I do agree the quality of games suck. And what happened to Demo versions? I would happily pay $29.99 for NFS if I could demo it first.

I actually can't wait for these games. I've not owned a copy of Sim City since 2000 (and I still try to play that in Mac Classic occasionally :D ) so it would be awesome to have as a decent time killer on my commute. I'm not entirely convinced by NFS yet though - but that's cos I find the Xbox versions a little lacking as of late, but we'll see. I've not yet been tempted enough to shell out more than about £1 for an App... maybe these three will be a turning point.

It's also great to see a major developer like EA supporting the iPhone. May we see many more.

The original Sim City would be very welcome, even though I enjoyed playing SC2000 in the good old days too. Back when all my games were pirated, ugh..

I was REALLY hoping to see Tiger Woods in these screenshots. I'm looking forward to a great golf game and based on these other games and their graphics/controls I think Tiger is going to be top notch. That's a game I'll gladly pay $10 for if it lives up to expectations.

The only issue with me is EA

Can you say worse company ever?

They have 3 types of games...

1.) Games with celebrity appearances (most of their sports games) / blockbuster titles (all of their based on a movie games,) with that being the sole selling feature (somehow, it works... very well I might add. Doesn't make the game any good but dang if it doesn't sell them.)

2.) A lousy sequel to a great game from a company they bought / otherwise ensnared.

3.) A lousy copy of a great game from a company they were unsuccessful at buying / ensnaring. (C&C 3 has got to be one of the worse RTS games I've played. Only reason it's the "RTS game of the year!" is because Blizzard was between WC3 and SC2 that year.

I'm really annoyed that they managed to ensnare ID... where are Mac gamers to turn for FPS games now? Valve only makes games for Windows... and ID now bares the EA logo.

OMG, I just remembered... The Conduit was hinting that they'd be revealing their publisher today... man I hope it isn't EA... please god don't let it be so...
