iPhone FPS 'Zombie Mansion' Coming in November
posted by Blake Patterson on October 4th, 2008 11:48 AM EDT in News, Shooter, Upcoming Games, iPhone games, iPod touch gamesSean Cross of Source IT Software wrote in to let us know that he is developing an accelerometer-controlled first person shooter for the iPhone called Zombie Mansion.
The game is, unsurprisingly, set in a zombie-filled mansion and the simple objective is to escape, killing anybody who gets in the way.

Zombie Mansion will be available for download through the App Store in November. We will bring more details on this title as they surface.
More screenshots are available on the developer's page.

Zombie Mansion is also available on the Windows Mobile platform.

Woo! Zombies! I'm buying this one!
The game could be watching zombies watching paint dry, i'd buy it
if someone does make the zombie paint drying thing, give me a percentage for the great idea!
zombies ftw!
First fps on the appstore? Great! Can't wait to test that.
looks bland… simple open gl enviroments won't do the thing… i hope this is an eaaarlllyyyy build..
Don't forget about the upcoming Re-Volt FPS.
Even if it looks bland, I'm all for shooting me some zombies. The Dev should at least get points for the first FPS on the iPhone.
I'm excited about Re-Volt personally, but I have no clue if or when it's coming out.
hi.
this is great news i can't wait either. I would be happy for just a picture of a zombie and i would buy that!!!!!!!.
bring it on
oooo
I confess I had underestimated the zombie fondness in the iPhone gaming community.
there are more screenshots

Screenshots look really shitty. Sorry but the graphics are really bad. Simple models, even more simple textures… Hope shots are from very early stage of production.
@arn: Indeed. Linked in article.
I definitely want an iPhone FPS, but I'm not sure this is what I've been waiting for. Quake1 is available for jailbroken phones and it looks better than this. The team behind space trader already proved that the iPhone runs Quake 3 quite well.
Curious how this guy handles controls, I hope its something better than the touchscreen buttons of Quake.
looks quite promising, although one does have to wonder how one will "shoot" in this application (esp. if there will be weapons variety)
cool hope it is good. They really need to bring Duke Nuk'em 3D to the iPhone. that would be awesome.
Man, if Duke 3D came to the iPhone and had awesome controls, that'd be orgasmic.
This will be an iPhone game? Even Metroid Prime Hunters on the DS looks better than this, while having about 1/12 of the power of the iPhone.
and yet again, this looks way too bland… like costa said, this is even WORSE than quake 1!
i mean come on, this better be like a beta version of the beta version…
graphics are good enough for me. I just wanna know how long it is. Tired of great games that are 5 minutes long.
you'l some f#@king D!ckh@3ds this is a great step forward to actual realease a FPS on the iphone you'll comparing to the ds metroid prime first off nintendo has had years to develope and learn from previous games they have made and apple who has never been known for extrem gaming this is a big step forwardim not being mean just standing up for what it actually is stop comparing it to other games and take it as a zombie FPS on iphone what they need to do is include online coop make it sort of like left 4 dead for iphone. I heard the iphone has 128mb of ram and 11mb is set aside for graphics is this true. also how do i get irc to work from command line i really need help haha my email is poler132@yahoo.com. Also i have a game concept its an simple 2d fighting mmo i was making it for psp but in rage i broke my psp so i need help on how to even start with and engine made for iphone.
This looks awesome! I dont care about bad graphics… The only thing is…
I AINT GOT NO IPHONE!!!
