Ok so almost every popular game and app has either dropped its price or has done one of these deals i feel sorry for the people who seen the app when it first came out and bought it.

I feel sorry too, but on the other hand, it's a free market economy, and prices fluctuate. I feel worse for the people that paid $600 for their iPhone and then had apple cut the price to whatever it went to. More money lost.

If you look at the top ten iPhone games, there are a lot of companies just cutting their prices looking for that sweet spot where they sell more units at the new price to exceed their old revenue rate.

I think a lot of it has to do with the fact that there's no inherent way to advertise in the App Store. Back in the day (like 2 months ago), there were so few games, in this example, that everybody had their 15 minutes. Now, developers are lost down on page 2 for their quality game, whilst all the newcomers enjoy their 15 mins.

How then, do they get back in the spotlight? A huge sale!

well just like anything else, prices drop. (iphones even?)
though I strongly believe in early adopter discounts, don't be upset that the market is rapidly becoming more competitive.

even when console games come out, I typically wait for a used copy, or for the price to drop entirely. but if I can't wait, I'll go and pay full price.
everybody has the choice to wait it out, or to indulge for a higher price. it just depends on the person, what they're willing to pay, and how long they're willing to wait.

    anyways...
I'm interested in this game, but the video seems a bit more like where's waldo than a puzzle/adventure game.
anybody enjoying this game so far?

I'm surprised it took this long for a "find hidden stuff" game to make it's way to the iPhone. We certainly had "match 3" clones at launch.

This game is decent, but the Agents of Intrerpol game is a LOT better. The graphics are hand-drawn/painted, and look a ton better than these photo-realistic shots.

Although, Agents just game out yesterday and it costs $6.00, so this might be a better deal for the time being.

    Fun times tho!

The game has been out for like what 2-3 weeks? HAHA. Why bother releasing it for 10 bucks in the first place. Just keep it low.

The game is "Where's Wally", and that's about it bar the odd very unchallenging puzzle.

Fair enough for 59p, at least there's /some/ effort, but I'd have been pretty hacked off if I'd shelled out ten bucks for this.

I love how it went from 9.99 to 8.99 to 0.99 to 1.99 to 2.99 to 1.99 to 0.99. I guess the magic number is 0.99.

I'll buy it when the price is 0.00.
