IUGO Previews 'Shaky Summit'

IUGO, the makes of Toy Bot Diaries, have provided a preview of their upcoming game Shaky Summit. IUGO describes the game:

Join the Summit crew as they dash and clamber their way in a no-holes barred 3D race to the top! The goal is simple: touch the screen to cause boulders to loosen, stalactites to fall, and much more. Change between paths and avoid obstacles as you attempt to reach the top of the mountain before your opponent. Strategy is the key to success. Plan your shakes carefully so you don’t accidentally help your enemy. To shake, or not to shake: that is the question. Shaky Summit redefines light gaming, exclusively tailored to the iPhone.

Features listed by the company includes:

  • Dynamic 3D levels offering maximum replayability!
  • 4 unique and colorful characters to choose from
  • Compete against a friend in 2 player split-screen
  • 3 difficulty levels provide lasting challenge
  • Enjoy an original score or shake to your own tunes
  • Suitable for all audiences
  • The video shows the game in 2 player mode, though we're still finding it difficult to follow the exact gameplay strategy.

I dunno guys, after toybot, I think this one is a step backwards. I sure do hope I'm wrong.

    • Steve says:

Wow.. I thought Toybot was boring enough.. what's the point of this one?

    • Nagromme says:

Wow, not easy to get the anti-spam word to work today!

And copying my comment didn't work even.

Looks to me like the game is set on a fixed path. The finger taps are to 'shake' the terrain, if you shake it in the right place, you can gain a strategic lead over the other player.

    • PFar says:

I'm not sure about the negative comments posted so far….

Actually to my eye, this looks like fun. Not sure of the control scheme, but the cartoony 3D graphics add a nice touch.

    • Rojo says:

If gameplay simply involves placing down your finger at certain intervals, I'm not so sure how interested I'll be in this — despite the fun-looking cartoon graphics. If there's a free lite version like Toy Bot Diaries, I'll give it a shot — but unlike Toy Bot, I won't buy this without trying it first, as it doesn't seem that appealing yet.

    • WhySoSerious says:

LOL…….is this a joke? this isn't a game……it's a program disguised as a "game" to prey on unsuspecting customers to spend their hard earned $ on it. CRAP…..don't buy.

    • Phil says:

      any update

    • Nick84 says:

WhySoSerious, this is a reputable developer we're talking about here. Do you have proof to backup what you claim? If not, i think you might be liable for damages. I'm sure touchacade has ur IP address in their server log u know.
