I'm sorry I find it offensive when people complain about... people complaining about high prices (it's not whining!). You can review a games controls, graphics, sound, and gameplay - all of which are completely subjective - but when it comes to the question: "Is the game worth it?" THAT should be off limits??? Give me a break!

At this rate, I'll just wait until it's down at $3.99. That's about how much this game is worth to me, and I've got more than enough actually good games to keep me busy, so it's not like I'm in any kind of hurry to own this. This is probably the type of game I'll play once every couple months for a few minutes at a time. It's not that $6 is a lot of money; it's just that for $6, there are vastly more entertaining titles available on the App store.

@Twaz: For me, it's less about the actual price, and more about a game's "worth." I'd be happy to pay $10 or more for a really high-quality game on my iPhone. I've paid quite a lot already for games much more than this. For Frogger... well, I'm not really interested in Frogger to begin with. But even if I was, I just don't think it's a game that's worth more than $5. $4 would be the price *I* set it at, if I was the developer -- because I know most people wouldn't want to pay more than that for just Frogger.

Stop whining about the price, you stupid tossbags. These games take time to develop. You've already paid a lot of money for the pleasure of owning an iPhone, so cough up for the software. All this price whining is akin to the idiots who buy cars they can't afford, then whine about the price of fueling it. Buy it or don't, but stop in incessant price whinging. The developers would like paying for their work, I'm sure.

I think this is still too much for Frogger (and I would greatly prefer the option to have the original graphics instead of this alleged "update"), but I have to give them credit for moving in the right direction. If Namco dropped Pac-Man and/or Ms. Pac-Man to $6, I'd probably pick one or both of them up. Obviously I'd like a collection of games even more, though some games just wouldn't translate well to the iPhone's control options.

@Kevin Crossman: I find the swipe method (akin to that available in Ms. PAC-MAC) to be rather effective.

Still $5 too much. This is a rather poor port, too primitive by todays standards, and they don't capture the fun of the old game. Pass.
