I don't know if it's because of better controls, or because I've just mastered this game, but I've managed to get all the way to the last level of the last world. I like the game suspend thing too. Now I can just quit when I want instead of having to finish a level or lose my progress.

Gameplay really seams to be a little more comfortable to handle, smoother and more fun. Tutorial is surely nice for first time players and the fact that you can now continue at the stage where you left off is literally a game changer.

I had also made it through all 100 levels. When I updated to the new version, however, it locked all levels back to the beginning, and erased all of my high scores. Is there any way to get back to where I was?

"Game suspended when player presses “Home” button"

Yes but its not totally a "paused" action, you have to restart the level you left. Of course its better than restart all the levels.

Definitely improved control, I managed to get past the complete first world and the first 10 tracks of the second world just playing a bit last night to test it out.

Before I had trouble just getting through the first world.

The game is much more enjoyable now, and for newbies the tutorial is a good way to get acquainted with the control system.

I've never had a problem with the controls. I've passed through all 100 levels with no problem. I've even unlocked about 7 of the 10 hidden levels.

If you don't believe me, I'll send screenshots.

The update seems to dampen the sensitivity a bit, making the movement seem a little more sluggish. I don't like it as much. I like my games to be snappy and precise. It just takes very steady hands and very small movements to play this game. If you're having trouble, try making small, sharp movements, returning back to the null center (pulse-width modulation for the geeks out there). Think of the way you control a car with a digital keypad instead of an analog stick... make sense? Also try to keep the ball rolling with at least some amount of forward momentum. It's much harder to play the game when it's absolutely stopped (and only a very very few levels require you to actually stop).

I agree that the controls are definitely improved. I was stalled in the game because of a lack of control sensitivity until the update.
