I simply gutted an xbox 360 controller, cut the top in a rectangular shape and glued a backshell into it. No need for any other harware and still the feel of a good grip playing fps or racing games.

The iPhone iPod touch would be awesome if you could turn the game graphics up or down. This could make a first gen touch and a 3g s both able to use the same games without any lag issues. What if, call me crazy, but want if somehow they build in a ram extender! Maybe just 10 or 15mb just to get rid of lag on iPhone 1st gens and iPod touch 1st gens. And companies wouldn't make controls just for this, they would make basic touch screen controls as well. Also an extra battery is nessicary if you want a true hand held. One more thing! Add q speaker becuase my touch doesn't have one and the 2nd ges are quite and the iPhone is mono not sterio. That's my opinon. Also someone said make a key board, just type in lanscape. I just type this whole thing in landscape. Also online gameing, maybe call of duty touch?

[...] The word on the street is that Belkin is going to release a joystick for iPhone and iPod Touch named JoyPod. If we believe the promotional image above, this will be officially supported once it gets on the market. It will have 8 buttons, a charging dock connector and… an audio output. Ok, it’s intriguing, so we’ll keep an eye on it. Stay tuned! (via toucharcade) [...]
