I agree Apple needs to highlight these games on the App store when they have been reduced in price – if it wasn't for TouchArcade I would never know about the reductions!

I've been waiting since launch for this game to come down in price – here in the UK it was £5.99 which I simply refuse to pay for something that may end up only keeping my attention for a short period. It's down to £3.49 now which is much more reasonable.

I just wish ALL developers offered a free trial before buying, as I've been really impressed by some of the free versions that I've tried (such as Cubes Lite, DizzyBeeFree and TanZen Lite).

Despite all the good reviews, this game was just a wee bit too expensive for me before — and so I was hesitant on buying it. I've been "burned" on the more expensive games I've bought so far, like SMB, Crash, Scrabble, and the like — none of which I play anymore. I've gotten a LOT more value and hours of enjoyment from much cheaper games like Dizzy Bee and Trism.

Thank you, TouchArcade, for reporting on this! I wouldn't have known about it otherwise…

I gave up on this game after getting 20+ minutes into a complicated level, several times in a row, and having it crash on me and lose my progress.

mavis i totally agree with you, installing new app takes more and more times, and sometimes it wont and then -> ALoD.
Talking about that i have recently noticed that is no more possible to "update All" in the AppStore app on iPhone, good choice i think.

I suggest you all to use todo list like ZenBe, wich is sync online, or Evernote for your notes application, the full restore of the death will lost all your data forever…

Is there any way to save data from game? I mean even if Toy Bot is such a good game, its a pain to replay and replay again because of à full restore…

@Nagromme: yeah, I went a little overboard there, didn't I? Almost half of that was from July 10/11th!! hehe …

Anyway, good luck! Try to keep the number of apps installed to a minimum – the more you have, the longer they will take to install/update (I'm up to about 15 minutes per app now) and the more likely your chances of suffering an ALoD ("apple Logo of Death" – Google it!) event.

I've budgeted $50 for apps and have so far spent less than $10.

But the temptation will be great as more and more games show up!

Mmm, im about 200$ on the AppStore and i dont feel frustrated as you mavis, i mean if im ready to pay the launch day price's its because i dont want to wait two weeks or a month for the price drop.
Its the price for the privilege.

And about the price getting higher i prefer the concept of free for first 5'000 or 10'000 then fixed price than a price of 0.99$ getting 2.99$.

Off subject:

MobileFinder is now 1.01 and drop price from 2.99 to 1.99.
The best and cheaper way to wifi's storage the iPhone for me.
