There's a lot here to like, although I found it a little too easy (I completed all fifteen levels on my first play). You can't argue with the price, though, and I hope that the developer will stick with it - this shows a lot of promise. Upgradable weapons, as already suggested, would be a nice touch. How about return fire from some of the enemies, and a Scorched Earth style two player mode?

This is a great-looking app, but still has a ways to go to be as good as scorched earth — it needs more random placement (the next map usually has an enemy in the exact same place, so you just fire again!), a two player mode (this would make it awesome), and instead of points (who cares about points in a game like this?) you want MONEY to buy some cool weapons with.

But we're just seeing the beginning of apps like this... can't wait to see what's coming.

fun game. It'd be better if, like Scorched Earth, you could use different weapons--and even cooler if you could play others over wifi. I doubt the Discovery Channel will add these features, but maybe another developer will come up with something.

I loved playing Scorched Earth back in middle school. I was thinking earlier this week that this would be a good port and looky looky!
