iPhone Game Based on TV Series 'Dexter' on the Way
posted July 25th, 2008 8:09 PM EDT by Blake Patterson in News, Upcoming GamesIn a rather interesting and unusual move for iPhone gaming, the iPhone and iPod touch are set to receive a game based on the Showtime TV series Dexter.
Set and produced in Miami, the [TV] series centers on Dexter Morgan (Michael C. Hall), a vigilante serial killer who works for the Miami Metro Police Department as a blood spatter analyst.
As Kotaku reports, at a recent Comic-Con panel discussion of the show, Marc Ecko of Marc Ecko Enterprises shared a few details regarding the upcoming title. The game, which will appear exclusively on the iPhone platform, will be episodic in nature and gameplay will involve texting, calling, and gesturing. Beyond this, there are few details.
Of the upcoming title, Marc Ecko VP Marc Fernandez indicated,
Dexter is the extremely rare TV show with enough layers of action and tension to translate perfectly into a compelling video game.

Huh, interesting! Very mysterious descriptions. Some sort of speech recognition for the calling?
ooo, maybe the iphone will be a knife, and you have to carve up your serial killer victims just like dex does.
You know, I like the show a lot, but think that a video game based off a TV show about a serial killer is unappetizing.
